Educational Tours Testimonials
Gianni & Mario, thank you for the professional manner with which you organised and led our tour of Italy. It was a pleasure getting to know you. Your love of Italy and its history is amazing and infectious. I have no hesitation in recommending you to other schools and hope that you will again work with Sacred Heart in the future.

I’ve never learnt so much in such a short amount of time. We didn’t only listen to the information and look at the buildings we experienced much more. This tour has made me want to travel to more places and take in more history of not only Italy but the world. I would like to thank Gianni and Vita Italian Tours for teaching me so much in such a fun and interesting way.
— H Daniel, Year 10 Student
St John’s Regional College Dandenong (VIC)
My recent travels with Vita Italian Tours were amazing. Gianni was extremely passionate about Italy and that added element made the tour 100% better. I believe that the places we went to were well chosen and the activities were fun and educational. I was immersed in the language and culture and not only has my speaking improved but I have also found the inspiration to hopefully go back one day.

My experience on this trip was amazing. The places we visited and learnt about were really cool and interesting. My favourite part was the homestay and getting a true taste of the Italian lifestyle and the exposure to the other Italian people and learning about their school and their life. It was also great to experience the castles and Urbino during that time. Thank you Viny and Gianni for organising this experience for all of us and for the information and knowledge you shared with us.

The Kilbreda College Italian Study Tour proved flawless, exceptional in every way. It was the right mix of language, history and culture and was age appropriate for the cohort group. We are grateful to Gianni's professional and personable manner and his commentary was both interesting and insightful engaging all students who showed a heightened appreciation of cultural awareness.

I have honestly found this experience so inspiring and educational. The layout of the tour allowed us to really immerse ourselves in the Italian culture and see so much more than the tourist attractions and the generic beaten path. Gianni’s knack of involving the group and engaging them into the recounts of the past was phenomenal and had so much more significance because I understood its history and reason for existence. I would recommend this trip to anyone and encourage them to not only think of the travelling itself but by how much knowledge and self-discovery a tour of this nature enables. I thank all the teachers and Vita Italian Tours for laying out the amazing trip and for Gianni’s positive attitude and unending knowledge.

This has been the most amazing experience in my life! Viny and Gianni were amazing and very informative with information. The information was very easy to understand and the extra effort that was made for the whole group to enjoy was fantastic, such as the football game! Homestay was definitely the best part and my host family were absolutely lovely! I have no negative comments as this tour was just perfect. Thank you.

The tour was great - I learnt a lot and enjoyed the places we visited. I liked the attention we received. Over and above, thank you. Pesaro was my highlight, the art and music in particular.

The Tour was immensely enjoyable and informative, and this was in no small part due to our tour guide. Mario was knowledgeable, charismatic and passionate about the many beautiful and significant sites that he showed us.

The study tour went extremely well, both from my perspective and that of the students. Gianni's rapport with the students was excellent and the information he provided them about each monument and church visited added a valuable dimension to the excursion.

Gianni and Viny provided a comprehensive and expertly delivered tour of Italy. The range of places/sites that we visited helped students to develop a stronger understanding of Italian history and culture. Hotels and meals were at a good standard. Home-stay experience worked really well, and the students all loved their families. Thank you for fantastic trip!

I have found this tour to be exceptionally good and it has exceeded my expectations in many ways. Mario & Gianni make a formidable team and work very hard to ensure that the tour proceeds as smoothly as possible. They were attentive to the needs of everyone in the group and work hard to ensure that we gain the most from our experience in Italy. Our students' home stay in Pesaro and bonds developed with their families proved to be invaluable and immensely rewarding for all involved. Mario & Gianni are entertaining, jovial, informative and passionate about Italy and with each city we visited the group achieved a comprehensive understanding and knowledge of the history, culture and of the people who were responsible for making it so special.

Prendiville Catholic College has just returned from an amazing school tour of Italy thanks to the experience and expertise of Vita Italian Tours. 34 students and 4 teachers enjoyed most of the main sites – Rome, Pompeii, Sorrento, The Amalfi Coast, Florence, Siena, Venice – as well as a week’s homestay in a small town in Le Marche. On arrival in Italy everything went smoothly and according to plan – all coach transfers, guide meeting points, hotel check-ins etc. Most importantly the students raved about the trip and it has infused in them a love and appreciation of the Italian language and culture. I would not hesitate to recommend Vita Italian Tours when planning a school trip to Italy.
