Celebrating 20 Years of Touring!

Posted 21 October, 2025 By Vera Battista

A Journey of Passion, Culture & La Dolce Vita

This year marks a remarkable milestone for Vita Italian Tours, as we celebrate 20 years since our very first tour. Our first tour was an Opera & Food Tour in Le Marche Region, an unforgettable experience that brought together the best of Italy’s opera and culinary traditions. Guests were treated to world-class operatic performances, delectable regional cuisine, and the personal insights of Mario and Viny. This tour laid the foundation for what would become Vita Italian Tours’ hallmark: curated small group travel experiences that go beyond the guidebooks, combining cultural depth, local knowledge, and genuine hospitality.

Growing a Family-Run Legacy

Over the past two decades, Vita Italian Tours has evolved but we have always stayed true to our core values, a family-run and operated business, ensuring that every guest is treated not just as a traveller, but as a part of our Vita Italian Tours family. We have had some wonderful changes to Vita Italian tours, Mario and Viny’s son, Gianni and daughter Nina, joined the business, bringing a new generation’s insight and passion to the team and we have our own fully accredited travel agency arm, Pronto Travel – through which we service our clients every travel need. We are also a team of six in our Collingwood office – with our cousins Peter and Vera now very much a part of our operation and we have curated an incredible team of local Italian (and European) guides and tour leaders – who are industrious, knowledgeable and pride themselves on service excellence. Though we are proud of our growth – we will always remain firmly grounded in our authentic roots.
